  12. I got to agree with what marshall said, I even caught a hint of Tyga in his verse. Nevertheless it was a very dope verse Drake is without a doubt on the come up. He got the big name co-signs, and like everyone else these days the Jay-Z style of performing(Hate it or Love it and I don’t neccessarily love it, but you gotta give it to Jay. Because motherfuckas definitely be jockin him)now all he needs to do is drop an album that lives up to the hype.

  36. I absolutely hate the word “commercial.” You niggas use it wrong. Commercial is describe as anything that is done with intent to go to the masses. Underground music is intended for the masses of underground fans, hence being commercial. Your definition is completely off. Commercial music isn’t what you think it is. Stacks said it best “If the album sell out, I’ll be considered a sell out.”

    As far as Drake, dude is talented. Who you like is a term of relevance. I don’t have to defend why I like him. My problem is, if you don’t like the dude then why check for him? I just don’t understand it. I won’t go listen to a Soulja Boy song and call him wack afterward. If I see something posted that relates to him, I just look past it. He’s not for me, as is Drake isn’t for you. I don’t necessarily call it hating because you’re entitled to your opinion; but come on, when do you realize that it’s time to move on and stop checking for dude? I feel like people cast of whatever is hot at the time because you’re not the exclusive one with the new Drake record. If any artist that you were feeling before the deal gets huge, then it’s like “Oh, he’s wack anyway.” It’s ridiculous.

    On the Jamie Foxx thing, dude is talented as well. Look at his track record. I wouldn’t compare him to Eddie Murphy, simply because what he’s done has always centered around music. Well, with the exception of Living Color. The Jamie Foxx show was all about music. He’s been grinding and writing records for a minute. Number’s don’t lie? Lol, exactly. I respect him for his dedication to both of his crafts. He doesn’t slack on acting, nor does he slack on music. I think he’s paid, solely on acting – but he’s able to do music because he loves it. That’s dope in all rights.
