The Jonas Brothers – Don’t Charge Me for the Crime f. Common

Ok, I’m going to hell. For one, I’m posting a track by The Jonas Brothers on 2dbz. And two, I actually like it!? Holy shit… Shake’s on drugs people! But seriously, regardless if the song came out dope or not; there is some money  you just say no to Lonnie. I don’t really feel like looking for a picture of the little virgins so I put up an image of their biggest fan. Shouts to BuckMarley.

  5. i agree, Common!?…..Jonas Brothers!?….what is this world coming to lol

  9. yeah the photo saves this whole thing lil bit ^^

  10. Nah, not even the photo can save your soul Shake……I suggest you go repent

  11. smh…..

  12. First Snoop with Miley Cyrus, now Common Sense with Jonas Bros. what is the world comming too

Pussy whip bitch with no Common Sense – Ice Cube

  13. First Snoop with Miley Cyrus, now Common Sense with Jonas Bros. what is the world comming too

Pussy whip bitch with no Common Sense – Ice Cube
    oh yea
Hip Hop started in the west Ice Cube bail thru the east w/o a vest

  14. What’s worse Common featuring on a Jonas Brothers track or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbC5t7LFSqI M.O.P. featuring on a LFO track a few years ago.

  15. yep common sense will get lots of pussy with this one lol

  16. I have no clue how the fuck Common can expect to have any respect in hip hop after this one. I felt the same way after his GAP commercials but now this? R.I.P. Common – this guy obviously ain’t the same one.

  17. Shake, buddy, wtf is going on here?

  18. Well at least Common is in the studio with Kanye…I will be a Kanye fan forever but he doesnt make the same soul sound anymore…so I guess that does mean R.I.P. Common, unless No I.D. comes thru

  19. Song isn’t bad at all.

  20. wow that was horrible i dont know how u guys at 2opeboyz like that song, i love Circus so i understand being creative and trying to make new music but this is just bad!!!!!!!

  21. why the fuck are all yall hatin…this song is tight listen to the joib before u start hatin cause Jonas Brothers are attached

  22. Who is that fine piece of ass in that picture??

  23. ^^chelsea handler

  24. You guys are fickle just cos he does a song with the jonas bros his legendary status should be revoked if u don’t like the song “tough cookies” since went does common make simple and/or predictable moves.

  25. i have the biggest kinagarten crush on chelsea. is there a hq version of that pic?

  26. kindergarten*

  27. LMFAO

  28. GAP, Ford, now Jonas Brothers. Dude doesn’t need the money thanks to film, so WTF. I guess he’ll sell his soul next?
Have little respect for Com esp. considering how bad his last album was.
Anyway, thanks for the photo, she looks great!

  29. Honest to God I thought it said Featuring Cam’Ron…

  30. I didn’t know random acts of fuckery came out today.

  31. Common is the biggest sellout ever. at lest other media hoar rappers are blatant about being in the game only for the money but this dude will do anything for a buck. then turn around and claim real hip hop soul underground revolution peace brother buy gap!

  32. atleast he tried haha, its obviously not going over well with the fans who didnt listen to the track. i say anyone doing something with Jonas Bros is doing something smart…

  33. I was going to come in here and yell at Shake for posting such craziness. And then I heard the track…and I can’t do it now. It’s honestly not that bad at all. I was expecting some sort of pop-rock “Burnin Up” type sound, but it wasn’t. It had a little bit of grit to it and Common complemented the song pretty well.

It’s weird as fuck to have a Jonas Bro song on here, but I bet if this was a track from Colin Munroe people would have been just fine with it. Since it’s some disney kids with a tween fanbase, it’ll automatically be written off by hiphop heads since they have no credibility in the scene.

This is why you you really have to judge an artists merits on a song by song basis imo. If you completely write them off sometimes you miss on a song/album you might dig a little.

I really like when the most unlikely artists come together to make something that can be accepted by a wider range of people (if they are open to it).

  34. track is not that bad actually haha like dead ass.

  35. I saw this and fucking laughed. But giving it a listen it isn’t half as gay as I thought a typical Jonas Brother song would be. Their singing isn’t so terrible in this song. Still will never ever admit being a fan of the Jonas Brothers or even liking their work but this song is fine.

  36. Chelsea Lately took nudey pics?

  37. dude what the hell, jonas bros? lamee

  38. Anybody calling Common a sellout for hopping on a Jonas Brothers song is super lame. None of you guys support hip hop or music at all and should stop commenting on 2dopeboyz and any other blogs for that matter. Jonas Brothers are actually good artists. I guess they just get that guff because they are affiliated with Disney. Open your minds and stop being lames. The joint wasn’t bad at all and it was a good crossover joint. I give props where it’s due. I been a fan of the JoBros since 2006. This is one of their most mature, eclectic joints.

Dang, y’all gon miss out on a lot of dope stuff in life with that wall of ignorance up.

That’s just my two cents…and then some.

*Rant over. Start the feedback commentary or homo jokes or whatever LAMES do.

  39. If the title said “Rage Against The Machine” or “Maroon 5″ and still sounded exactly the same, I’m pretty sure the backlash of Common doing the collabo wouldn’t be harsh. I don’t listen to the Jonas Brothers and I know most of their shit doesn’t sound like this, but this song isn’t that bad.

  40. Fun fact: I would do a song with Miley Cyrus anyday! LOL.

Her albums go like triple platinum is a week. Good career move for those dividends.

  41. “Chelsea Lately took nudey pics?”

her name is chelsea HANDLER, and yes… she took one for Allure magazine….
    http://2dopeboyz.okayplayer.com/2009/04/13/chelsea-handler-nude-for-allure/

  42. nice track. looks like the jonas bros might be growing up and taking that purity ring off. time to get some pussy fellas. commom just tryin to touch a wider audience. who said he dont want some of that disney pussy

  43. If you play lil wayne, why not jonas?
    both kiddie bop bullshit.

  44. hahaha i love how you used a photo of Ms Chelsea.
How can an uber fan not approve? lol

Havent listened to the song, but after reading the comments (and even hearing about the damn callab) sounds like Im gonna have to

  45. always good to see a weird calab like this to get people talking.

some of yall just some dumb fucktards. yall got this shit implant in ur mind that this is the 70′s and u need to thing “THIS WAY” fuck what u think.

  46. yo i don’t think i like a single jonas bro. song, but this song aint bad. common def. saves it. but overall, i fuck with it.

  47. Can’t wait to see what Taylor Swift & T-Pain are gonna do..

  48. Lala, hope that happens. Both are good artists.

What the heck is wrong with y’all people and being set in a closed minded groupthink? Think independent.

  49. lol pretty sick song, cant lie.

  50. This song is the definition of a “sell out”

  51. The song is str8 but it’s still a sell ot move PERIOD… because the song is listenable qualifies the song as not being a sell out. Please. Sell out!

  52. this song is pretty damn nice, all of ya’ll with a one track hip-hop mind are making me sick. expand your mind a bit, so what if common did a track with the jonas brothers? its a dope track and he’ll get good money for it. IMO this track is better than every single track on his last album.

  53. All money ain’t good money!
    INTEGRITY IS FOREVER!

  54. im hating auttomatically without even hearing the song…THIS SHIT IS GAY

  55. ^^^^^^That nigga Young Son called them “JoBros”!!!! lol anywayz this jaunt aint bad but that dont mean im gonna start liking them purity ring faggots now.. anybody see them at the Grammy’s? fuck them…

Common obviously did it 4 the money and if u dont think so ur just ignorant..

  56. i consider myself as a pretty openminded dude but please tell me some really good songs that the Jonas Brothers have made Young Son???im serious 2…

  57. lovebug..
    hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

  58. Hey, I guess I just like a lot of different genres of music. What can you do. If you just want to like cliche hip hop garbage or whatever you listen to, to each it’s own. It’s a free country. I’ve dug a couple Jonas songs that y’all probably would call gay . So what. That’s your hangup. Maybe you should get more comfortable with your sexuality if you feel listening to a Jonas Brothers song challenges it. Usually, that would mean you were already on the verge of being fruity.

  59. Ive been a common fan for quit some time….
    Not after this bullshit….
Ill never buy or d/l another common album or song ever again…
    Fuckin sell out
