For most of us the thing with Dilla is what did it. Most people let go or ignored everything else til now.
To some level I think he played on the slightest hate/misunderstanding makes it bigger and turns it into promotion for his album(free again?) thats out next week. He even got punched on purpose(she admitted it via twitter and CH via song)

honestly, i first started listening to CH only cuz Im a Sonic fan and he freestyled over a Sonic beat. He has released some good stuff, and at one point i was givin up on the dude musically, but then (i forget what song exactly) he came out with something that brought me back. Dude does some messed up stuff, but as long as the music sounds good to me, nothing he’s done is enough for me to stop listening

I’m sorry, he took Ls on the girl punching him, regardless if it was set up or not. Its dumb. The Dilla thing was it for me, and I’m not saying he isn’t somewhat talented, but he’s put out some good and some bad. What sets it over the top is that he seems to be real disrespectful and childish. His antics get more pub than the actual music does and that’s a gimmick. It is what it is. Call it over-saturation with his mixtapes, but I personally don’t think he’s as tight as people give him credit for. He’s alright. But he seems to be a bit of an asshole. but don’t be lying on a dead man and his family. It’s past asshole stuff.
