Brother Ali – The Sound of Young America Interview

Back in July, I posted Blu’s interview with The Sound of Young America; which still to this day remains one of my favorites. Now Jesse Thorn chops it up wit Brother Ali to discuss his childhood and the difficulties with growing up albino, regionalism in hip-hop, religion and more. It’s a bit lengthy but well worth the listen. Shouts to MB for the heads up.

  2. My favorite rapper. His thoughts and life experiences mirror my own more than anyone I’ve ever heard and I’m just pale as shit, no albino.

  3. The Sound Of Young America continually has the best interviews of any podcast. Jesse Thorn puts the work in and it really shows. For you hip-hop fans he’s also sat down with Bun-B, Raphael Saadiq, Rhymefest, Peedi Crakk, Killer Mike, Tanya Morgan, and more. Subscribe that shit!
