Jay-Z on Hot97 w/ Angie Martinez (Audio)

The past hour I’ve been listening to Jay-Z on Hot97 w/ Angie Martinez, and as usual it was quite entertaining. Hov is definitely on a different level right now, still levitating from his Summer Jam appearance. Him and Angie speak on everything from Hov’s trrrble (© Charles Barkley) hair to his Summer Jam performance. He also goes in to say that he built Summer Jam (which I agree) and that his contribution to the brand is bigger than any other person’s contributions to the brand. Blueprint 3, LeBron James’ baby’ness after his L and more. Shouts to Miss Info and RR for providing the audio linkage…

  1. Shake, thank you. You guys stay on top of the game for a reason I see!

  2. Ok, cool. Haven’t listened to the interview. Now, even if you DID “contribute the most” to SummerJam, do you really have to fucking SAY you did? Jesus, come on now. Show a little humility.

  3. jay’s whyllin! lol

  4. jay-z and humility do not mix very well lol

  5. i wish i could listen

  6. what is his hair like lol she kept bringing it up

  7. ANGIE A DICKEATER HER AND FLEX IT LIKE THEY SO FUCKING HAPPY TO SEE JAY CALM THE FUCK DOWN

  8. “You shouldn’t be confused by the message other than that T-Pain was out there. I’m confused as to why he was out there.” – Jay-Z

T-Pain just popped up! HAHA! No wonder Jay-Z was looking at him awkwardly. T-Pain just ended up co-signing DOA’s message.

I was unaware of Ye’s ad-lib; pretty funny.

“Great! Give me 5 million dollars!” with that accent, it needs to be sampled.

I understand what he’s talking about Soulja Boy. Puts him in a decent perspective. Jay’s a grown man and it shows. He’s a funny dude. “Shout out? Shout out?!? Shout out to the whole team.”

  10. D.O.A is dope…but I think Jae Millz feels/felt a little offended by what he tweeted.

“Ima do the DOOR song…Death of old rappers!!..no lol on that either.. thats real shit, i just feel like voicing my opinion too…”

  11. JAY CAN BE A 100 YEARS OLD AND STILL OUT RAP MOST OF THESE SWAG FAGS BETTER YET HALF THESE NIGGAS CANT CATCH UP TO HIS PAST

  12. Jae Millz needs to drop a single. All these guys keep talking about old rappers need to leave the game. If you were better than the old rappers, then they would be irrelevant. The Bill Russell Celtics didn’t just stop winning because everyone was tired of it, you had to beat those motherfuckers for them to phone it in.

  13. good ass point. its a batch of new rappers who don’t care about the old rapperx because they are confident they can hang with them. but then its a batch of new rappers (who are old now) who just never cut it and all they do is complain… if muhuckas step they flow up there would be no complaints

thanks for the stream link… you know me and ushershare dont get along… i’m trying to find an update, plugin or something though. i miss being able to comment on everything. ha

  14. Ummmmm…Angie looks good in this picture
