Olivier just put up the artwork for Drake’s smash single; which will be hitting iTunes soon (as well as So Far Gone). I must say, it’s pretty cool. Shouts to Darkie and everyone involved for paying homage to the internets! I shouldn’t have to type this; but even though you all have the mixtape and single, it would be dope to show some support when they drop! And I’m not talking about copping that fake ass album. Hit the jump for the full cover…

so, where is the artwork??

I don’t think he will need our support haha. When that fake album was on itunes it hit as high as the 2nd highest selling album on itunes only behind Relapse…

I was real close to grabbing that iTunes album, because I wanted to support an artist – but I wasn’t about to cop something titled “The Girls Love Drake” no matter how much I liked an artist’s work!
As for the artwork, I like it; it’s unique and it gets the point across. I’m glad they didn’t throw Drake under a waterfall with his shirt off or some shit.

It’s a homage to the internet culture and how his music and popularity has been factored by the internet…

WHEN I SAW THAT ALBUM ON ITUNES I KNEW THAT SHIT WASN’T LEGIT…THE ARTWORK IS (2)DOPE

^ Good Call Jack, I didn’t even think of that but it makes sense.

… yeahhhhh no.
It’s going on iTunes for people who think it’s wrong to download albums. Especially when the album in question is a free mixtape.
I’m going to remove myself from Drake as soon as everyone (+more) starts bumpin’ Houstatlantavegas & A Night Off A Little Bit remix. & niggas start rappin’ Ignant Shit.

I see what they were tryna do with the artwork, and I admit it’s creative…
At this point in his career, Drake is still kinda just in the “folder” waiting for the day that more people are gonna be playing that file. Kinda corny, but I feel like that might be part of the idea. The music file is a subtle representation of something much bigger.
If you ask me, it’d work better for The Calm or Successful. It’s like those two songs are foreshadowing what’s to come. Just a thought, I do feel like they would have been better off with something that better portrays the mood of Best I Ever Had.

Lol, Best I Ever Had is track 10 on So Far Gone isn’t it?

Cr!tical,
may as well get to separating because I bump “A Night Off” & “Ignant Shit”…and rap/sing both of ‘em.
You know the best part of music? That you should be able to listen to whatever you want, whenever & not give a fuck what people think. Don’t make you no less of a man. If you ain’t got the balls to bump what he fuck you like, I’m sorry for ya.

I don’t really care about the philosophy is behind the artwork because it’s WAK! I really wonder how long it took to make that cover (rhetorical)?
Come on this is bullshit at least try to be creative visual then work some philosophical bullshit after you make it appealing. I like Drake but I absolutely hate this cover. It bites ass!! Yuk!
