To the dumb bubble heads who thinks Phife dissed Chuck D if you know you history PE had a song called “Shut em Down” so Phife was saying he shut corny mc’s not Chuck, get it right and PE and Tribe are good friend’s anyway!!!

Bottom Line… Chuck D. Is a legend as well as Em. They are Legends for different generations…. but, had it not been for pioneers such as Chuck D. and many others that many youth in todays hip hop generation are not aware of… hip hop would not be the force that it is World Wide! Get to Know the history of this music…Respect those that paved the way… (It does not mean agree with everything that any artist says about another) I am an old school cat and I am still learning everyday old and new school…. O you know what’s funny. If you ever go to a Public Enemy concert you’ll see tons of white people. They even do rock versions of their songs and have a rock and roll album. They performed some songs with rock & roll legends (all white). You call them racists but you can’t recite one line, one verse, one song or one album. I’m sure of it. I really guess “Ignorance is bliss” huh lol???

Why when some white people hear a black rapper who talks about black power or politics they call the rapper racists. Shit ya’ll say the same thing about black activists too. That goes to sure your fear and ignorance. You call them racists but you never really listen to their music or look up what black power means or anything of the sort. Please note I said “some”

You contradictive, scared cowards kill me. I’m glad that there are a lot of intelligent white people who give good impressions of how one should act vs the ones who judge so quickly like the ones who call a man racists who’s actually not. People who often speak the truth or are willing to be aggresive about the wrongs in society are looked down upon. It’s a shame because they are the real people who help change when society is going bad. These are the same people and reason we live the way we live now.

no disrespect to you shale this is just my opinion. But I hate when people say things like “if you don’t know who chuck d is ignore this post” or something like that. There are people who come to this site who probably don’t know who he is so we should work to teach those people. What if they are young and so public enemy was before their time? If you new to hip hop how would you know who he is? People think just because they know who he is it means they are superior or something.
