If you didn’t know, my first introduction to hip hop came courtesy of MC Hammer’s Please, Hammer, Don’t Hurt ‘Em, so this particular mixtape instantly caught my eye. Classic songs, interludes, original samples and some new 2009 remakes of Hammer’s biggest hits featuring the likes of Mistah Fab, Izza Kizza, 6th Sense and Chip Tha Ripper, spitting alongside re-done verses by Hammer himself.
