Eminem On Le Grand Journal (Video)

While in France, Marshall performed a few cuts off Relapse. “We Made You” – a song I still enjoy (mainly because I haven’t heard it but maybe three times total) – is up top, while “3 A.M.” is down bottom.

  1. I think this is the first Eminem show in France … Almost ten years after his first album… He choose the good show, Grand Journal is the main show in France… But French shows are still in late than Uk or German shows… There’s no enough HH artists on french tv…

  2. Dude, there are a few really impressive artists in France. Besides, I really think that they have some hidden gems that just need more exposure.

  3. I know there are really good artists in France ’cause I’m French lol … And you’re right when you say they don’t have enough exposure on french tv. R-That’s what I mean when I say “there”s no enough HH artists on french tv”. Usually french are cold to invite rappers on show or they invite persons who just look like rappers but they are just a product built with all stereotypes about HH… France is the second industry in the world for HH and the medias ignores HH artists.

  4. Make a list of like top ten dope french rappers

  5. I think a gotta do a list with several parts because French rap really change this last decade. You’re gonna that this ain’t an innovative movement musically like US. French rappers are most focused on lyrics. And actually we don’t have rookies who could change something. Personnally I listen less French HH than before ’cause it makes me sad lol. Now this is a too sectarian movement and it ain’t grows up.

Historic artists or bands (90′s) :

-Supreme NTM (one the best french band livs, they ridiculized Wu-Tang thirty years ago)
-IAM (very conscious lyrics their best album is “L’Ecole du Micro d’Argent, 1996)
-Assassin (lead by the brother of french actor Vincent Cassel)
-MC Solaar (on the first Guru Jazzmataz compilation)
-Lunatic (they made just one album but this is a classic)

    Actual Best Sellers :
-Rohff (the only one french artist to freestyle @ the Wake Up Show)
-Booba (former member of Lunatic and former great lyricist, but now this is just a bad copy of Lil Wayne or Young Jeezy)
-La Fouine (another copy of Weezy)
-Sefyu (an original mc with an original flow)
-Diam’s (best seller of these last year, she is now the Artistic Director of Motown France)
    -Kery James (our Krs One)
    the Most talented :
-Oxmo Puccino (an old timer in french HH Movement, a real poet who made his last two albums with a jazz band)
-Hocus Pocus ( a real band with instruments lead by 20Syl mc and producer. They work with T-Love, Omar, The Procussions…)
-Disiz la Peste (really good mc, very technical, his last album Disiz The End, has been just released last week)
    -Flynt (a really good lyricist)
    -Lino (from the band Arsenik)

You can see others french HH artists on my site wwww.streetblogger.fr or http://www.booska-p.com. this is the main french rap website but this is always the same shit. There’s few young talented mc’s who try to do something different but this is really difficult to succeed for them because of that.

I hope you’re gonna manage to undertand what I mean…

And welcome to the sad world of French rap lol

  6. great gift for your girlfriend

  7. Hi there, i appreciate visiting your blog so much!
This is another one of my favorite postings.

I figured to ask you though and couldn’t find another method to contact you, but I would like to see you do
a post on the US economic situation. I understand this may be very out of the ordinary for your blog, but I really
like how you think and would love to see your viewpoint on this topic. Best regards from a fan!

    Thanks!
