Talk about one of the most off centered ways of finally getting an official track. First we had the incomplete version with some other rapper, then I premiered the NoDJ with just Drake & Wayne, then the official line up (with drops) appeared on the Trappin’ Ain’t Dead mixtape. Now we get the official version, sans tags via Mr. NoDJX.
Here’s yet another tagless track off the upcoming DJ Skee x DJ Drama x R. Kelly mixtape, The Demo Tape. At this rate, we’ll have the entire thing with out drops before it hits the internet. X just sent this, or else I would’ve included it in this week’s Sunday Soothing Session. Anyone else find this remix in particular a bit disturbing? Like… should you really be saying you wanna fuck every girl in the world Kelz? And why not keep Drake on the record instead of Wayne? Dah well… it’s not my doing haha.
New joint from up and coming UK artist, Shotty. Featuring Crooked I; who takes aim at those that infected his first love. Shouts to TS. I didn’t wanna look around for a picture of Shotty so I used a part of the cover for a mixtape collection of songs I put together four years ago (that I ended up posting back in February).
Damn… I had this post ready to go, but I forgot to schedule it! Dah well, It’s still early in the afternoon. This week’s Soothing Session comes fully equipped with new/unreleased Ne-Yo, Bobby V, Ryan Leslie, R. Kelly, Tank, Ginuwine, H-Town (yes, H-Town), Raphael Saadiq and more! So as usual… download the few below then hit the jump for the rest.
FlowTV goes behind the scenes of Sony Hip Hop Live to listen to B.o.B talk about his struggles as an up and coming artist. After the jump he speaks on his experiences at the BET Hip Hop Awards…
Mario just came through with Big Boi’s Sneaker Pimps performance. Unrelated note (as I’m watching a replay of boxing on HBO): when is Fight Night Round 4 dropping/is it out yet? I may need to go ahead and cop that. SHAKE UPDATE: Hit the jump for Sneaker Pimps Miami; featuring the Clipse performing What Happened to That Boy, Cot Damn & Grindin’.
Video promo for XV’s first single off his upcoming project, Everybody’s Nobody, produced by Boi-1da. There’s definitely too much Orlando Magic loving in this video, especially when the Lakers are gonna take a 1-0 lead the day the single drops (June 4th).
Tor kicks some bars for Jay Smooth on his weekly show, the Underground Railroad. DJ 3D on the 1s and 2s. Marco Polo & Torae’s Double Barrel in stores this Tuesday!
New single from Philly rapper Tommy Stars; off his upcoming Purple Rain mixtape. You know something is wrong when Lil Wayne is singing the hook and Birdshit is dropping shit verses. Use of Wayne FAIL. Snagged from OS.
