How is Wayne great??? He has no substance. Look at that feature on T.I.’s Done It Now that came out last night. That was a personal track full of anger and Wayne just spits about nothing. Way off topic. Obviously Wayne isn’t great if he’s on the autotune bandwagon plus every now and then has a ghost writer and I thought of this yesterday too, dude might be doing this rock shit to sell out for Rock Band/Guitar Hero considering it’s mostly rock music and those real artist’s have made TONS of money off that shit. Even them old artists that ain’t really doing that shit anymore is making money.

I get what you sayin, but my personal opinion is that lil wayne is a great artist, businessman, and versatile. have you ever heard an artist go from hip hop to rock and still get respected? Have you ever heard of an artist that has went all the way to the top solely through Mixtapes? Have you ever heard of an artist go 3 full years without an album and that album sells like crazy????

Honestly I don’t see how he’s getting respect for changing to pop rock. Hell, Universal don’t even want Rebirth released which is why they keep pushing it back. He’s making the real rock artist’s look bad. All he’s doing is singing with autotune over a rock made beat. Most of his mixtapes aren’t even official. Very few are. The sales of C3 are fishy cuz the album wasn’t even that good but there are so many fooled people buying into Wayne’s shit that it’s really not surprising he sold like he did but still fishy at the same time.
