Naw i think this is a blend. I doubt Ye would’ve spit that verse to this track it doesn’t match the subject matter.
the last part of kanye’s verse sounds different than the one he had on the clipse song so im thinking is not a blend..
If you want to match the two, the vocals don’t match. One thing I can think of right now since I don’t feel like actually doing that is the the “dumb ass” part.
He extends the “ass” part and on KoABD, it’s a quick staccato “ass”.
I feel like a pimp for degrading women like that just now.

Yeah Kanye was originally on this song until Swagga Like Us was made then they kept Luda’s appearance under the radar near the album release.

This not a blend at all. Not one bit…the last part of his verse it different than on kinda like a big deal. And his flow is different on the beat. I guess he just kept it and gave it to the clipse for their track. I wonder if the clipse knew about it…
Idk why T.I. would ever release the ‘ye verse. Has he not heard “Kinda Like a Big Deal?” Pretty sure that record came out before he went to jail. Basically snubbing The Clipse there tip. I understand this was the song Ye first used the verse for but show some respect to Pusha and Malice. The verse on there song is an official single for there next album, not some unreleased shit put on a re-release just so you could get more cash in your pocket. Now every person who buys the re-release is gonna remember Ye’s verse on “On Top of the World” and not “Kinda Like a Big Deal.” I got no problems with TIP, love his music, but this should of never came out at all.
I co-sign with you BIG RED. I wonder what pusha and malice are really thinking once they hear Kanye’s verse was originally made for T.I.’s track? It kinda take away from Kanye’s performances on Kinda like a big deal. He should made a whole new verse for the track knowing at any time T.I. could release this track and indirectly snub the clipse 1st single off their new ablum Till the Casket Drops.
Appreciate the co-sign CobraClutch’09, I mean the only way this get fixed would be to make a new verse for TIP. Cus if he switched up his verse on KLABD, the video they just did would be f’ed up. Its just odd to see this get released when it should just be a mixtape exclusive, like it is on this tape. but i wonder if tip knew this when he released this. i dont think tip did this intentionally, but its odd to see this make the re-release when what should of been done was re-do the track and Ye switch up his verse if he were gonna put it on the re-release or just put this as a exclusive on a mixtape.

Who said the remix was going on the re-release??? Remember Me and Hell Of A Life is only confirmed. Out In The Cold is most likely going on and I think Let My Beat Pound will too then that leaves 1 more which might be something that was recorded for his next album which will be more up to date for his career.

Up for possible selection, nothing confirmed. Just like Out In The Cold, All Night, It’s All G, and whatever else. Tip even said Goodbye My Dear but that shit was recorded back in 06/07 for T.I. vs TIP lol. The way it sounded I wouldn’t be putting it on the re-release. Especially if it was changed up a bit and used for someone else’s song. It wasn’t even that good anyway unless I’m just so used to hearing Luda on it as much as I’ve listened to it. I highly doubt that the remix will end up on the re-release. He got too much heat. He might end up throwing Collect Call on it even though it was a bonus song but should have been on Paper Trail.

I think Kanye had a right to recycle a verse he thought was not gonna be released, I mean if you spit a dope verse and someone tells you it didn’t make the cut, you can give someone else that DOPE Verse!!! and if “kinda like a big deal” is the best song on the clipse album they need a new album.(no shots)

The track should of never been released once Kinda like a big deal was came out. Just out of respect for the clipse and what they are trying to do. Or Kanye should of made a new verse for KLBD and spit this verse on some mixtape track so it hurt no one. I doubt T.I. had anything to do wit the re-release of this but someone got show some respect hip hop and drop a verse of Kanye knowing he use it for clipse’s 1st single.

T.I. didn’t release these himself… Someone got hold of them and sold them to a DJ. I doubt any of these 2 will be on the re-release of Paper Trail.
Kanye’s done this a couple of times now, just editing the verse to fit another song. His verse on Kid Cudi’s ‘Make Her Say’ (Poke Her Face) was orginally his verse on the remix to ‘I Love College’.

Unlucky for Clipse who said some shit about Kanye being in Japan, them sending him the KLBD track and him having his verse done in 2 hours like he was hyped for the track.. when in fact he just re-spit this verse to suit the new track.
