As for Tyga, I first heard of him back in 2007. I got a remix he did of the Plain White Tee’s “Hey There Delilah”. I liked that type of stuff too…even the Coconut joint. I just thought he was trying to have fun with music, which was cool. I could rock with that. I had heard him spit on the “Arms Race” Remix too, so I knew he could really spit some illy lyrics too. I guess people just became so harsh on hip hop music lately, so him “having fun” was out of the question…which is why his album didn’t do well. So now he realized he probably has to be trying to go the extra mile every time he goes in the booth now.

This joint was decent. All of his new tracks have been better than his old ones from last year, though his single “Cali Love” still goes the hardest right now.

He’s slowly inching up there though. Drake already the legend in my opinion…Tyga is earning his keep.

Sidebar: I’ve been listening to Wiz lately too. Dude is dope…but it’s something about him I can’t grasp that keeps me from being a fully fledged fan, and I don’t know what it is.
