  3. QUESTION: for anyone that knows about downloading .rar and .zip files like CDs and stuff. After I download (I have a PC if that matters in this situation) the .rar or .zip and then decompress, if I delete the uncompressed raw file and keep the one that I decompressed will it corrupt the entire file? or is it like when I decompress the file it creates a copy of the entire file?

    Just download a program called WinRar. It opens up .zip and .rar files for you. After you get it, all you need to do is extract the files to wherever you keep your music or your desktop or whatever, and you’re done. Don’t need the .rar or .zip anymore.

    THIS GOES FOR ALL OF YOU WHO DON’T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH .RARs. SMH.

    come on, you seriously think i download .rars without WinRAR? ive had WinRAR since I got my comp a year ago lol….all I wanted to know was if I needed the original .rar or .zip to not corrupt the file. Need to free up some memory on my comp, thanks for your rude answer.

  9. tommy it makes a copy im pretty sure..just delete a shitty mixtape or something ..of the zip file and see if the decompressed or w/e the shits called..folder gets messed up..thats what i’d try first

    lol! i just did it with a really bad Rich Boy mixtape that I had and it still worked in iTunes. Thanks for the help!
