The Cool Kids x Nike x LeBron x Kobe (Video)

Decatur Dan just informed me that Nike decided to use The Cool Kids’ A Little Bit Cooler (off the Bake Sale EP) in one of their internet shorts. I’m not sure if this one is airing on television (I haven’t seen it yet) but it’s dope nonetheless. I’ve really enjoyed the commercials I’ve seen (LeBron… have you seen my three NBA Championship rings?). Anyways… can you imagine the amount of money and marketing Nike, Vitamin Water, etc will be pushing if LeBron & Kobe square off in the Finals? How ridiculous would that be? Last night I talking with Black ELement (the Lakers biggest fan) and he mentioned they could even swing LeBron vs Melo. Which is true, anything but Magic vs Nuggets haha.

  5. thats true about the magic and nuggets. that would be a big let down. its supposed to be kobe and lebron though. people would settle to see melo do it, just because that original lebron and melo pairing, plus melo been putting work in for a while, we thought he lost his chance, and now here he is doing big things…..

    either way…. these commercials are funny/creative/and just mad entertaining.. it makes me reminisce back to the lil penny commercials..good look to the cool kids too

  11. Classic Nike commercials are something that the NBA needs. We had the Air Jordan commercials, we had the Little Penny commercials, and now we have Kobe vs. Lebron. Excellent work from Nike’s marketing team.
