Nah, let’s keep it going with that good music. This right here is off American Beauty. An album, that Alexipharmic released last month. It’s obvious I’m late on this post; but the basis behind the album and what dude is doing is too dope to sleep on.
Most of American Beauty was written while on a 30 state, 10,000-mile road trip. Throughout the journey Alex interviewed countless men, women, and children of all walks of life at each stop. He ended up weaving the broad spectrum of the stories he recorded on the road with his own unique personal experiences. The result is an album that breathes with energy and ambition, and reflects the hopes, broken dreams, unity, division, optimism and voice of our current society.
Not only that but he’s worked on the Save Darfur project and will be donating 50% of his musical proceeds to charity. He’s also part of the 2009 American Beauty Tour; which will partner with Feed the Children. Giving 100% of the tour’s net proceeds to combat child hunger and homelessness in America. Dope music w/ a few (2)dope approved artists and positive output on today’s society? Some awesome stuff right here.

Feelin this. Again tho, the production really stood out. The singing came at the right times and it was a real balanced record, with good subject matter. Too bad there’s no bitches with bikinis in the front picture.

The singing is good
The features are on point
But his verse was the definitely the weakest link of this record
He has a good cause but he raps like a fuckin’ dickhead. Donating 50% of nothing is still nothing. E for effort.
This is beautiful. Such a good track. I’ll definitely support, and also check out the show when the tour comes through my way.
