Man, talk about coming back with a vengeance… Red & Meth and Busta Rhymes, all on the same podcast. Fire on top of Fire!!! Talked about a lot of Hip Hop shit, like Wu-tang, Epmd, The Roots, Dilla, Rza, Old Dirty, etc. These guys seem like they are in a great place right now. Putting out albums, and doing shows. Great Hip Hop from some great Hip Hop artist. One of the illest things to me was the whole time Meth was doing crossword puzzles from a huge crossword puzzle book. He likes them words.
I say Method Man & Redman then Red & Meth. And big ups to Mef for keeping it real when the topic of best emcee alive came up. That’s dope.

Wow, Meth was brutally honest about himself there. I’m sure ?uest has something to say (not bad, just sympathetic) about it. I can more or less feel them on the need to promote the records the way they sound on the radio, BUT…damn, imagine what they’re could sound like with the Roots? Would that have been so bad?
I understand Quest’s disappointment,and I also understand Red n Meth’s point of view also. That would be dope though.
The Roots could make that song sound tight as hell. The horns and shit..cmon quit playin. They should just go through souncheck and if it don’t sound the way they like it..use the DJ.

Wow how real is that… Method Man said “Ashford & Simpson” get 100% publishing every time the “All I Need” song he did with Mary J Blige gets played and that was part of the contractual agreement to clear the sample/song. Whoa but he did said something that was humble of him that he got a classic song and a Grammy out of it. They went through a lot of good hiphop history.

nice interview…but I call bullshit on meth’s reason for not rocking with the roots. Fuck that. I had already drop Meth from list of rappers I support from his bullshit responses to Joe Budden; no this……he just confirmed my reasons for dropping his egotisical ass.
Leave Meth alone he doesnt have to have the roots tour with him if he dont want to. Its him n reds tour. ?uest has no rite to adress him over the internet speaking negative without addressing meth face to face first. Simple respect is needed. If you have an issue with sum1 discuss it with them first not the world.
