Although this is a Quest Tha Youngn record, Reks gets the image for absolutely body’n his verse (word to nation). I swear folks that still sleep on dude are deaf. That’s the only explanation.

Fuckin immense, Statik does it yet again. He really is creepin up that ladder with his production. Dude is role model forreal, consistency and natural love for the music.

I had the honor of being featured on a compilation called “ZERO ELEMENT: The Reclaimation Project back in 2008 with Reks and I quickly found out that dude was the real deal. If you ain’t up on that Grey Hairs and More Grey Hairs ish, you should get up on it.
The production was superb on this. Statik Selektah got that eclectic, vintage style.
I agree. All three of them came correct with it on this.
I’ve only heard this sample once before, sampled by a prominent hip hop group based out of here in Minnesota named Big Quarters. Ironically, the live version of their cut was also featured on the ZERO ELEMENT project with Reks.
You can peep their cut here if anyone is interested in hearing another way that the sample was flipped:

I can’t listen to anyone who’s so unimaginative to put “lil’”, “young” or something along those lines in their name. Reks and Term are both dope and Statik is nice, but fuck I just can’t respect anyone dumb enough to come up with a stupid name like that.

^LOL
Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy aren’t the greatest of examples, although I will say that TM101 was kinda nice, I repel Lil Wayne with anything holy though, garbage.
I do think you should listen to this track and to most tracks that feature artists you like, they most likely wouldnt get on tracks they consider wack anyway.

LOL. That’s so silly to say that man. How I see it, the prefix “Young” or “Lil” or “Kid” or whatever, is like back in the day when everyone was “M.C”
MC HAMMER
MC LYTE
MC SHAN
ETC!
