Rican ebonics ’09 is fucking impressive. I mean L is insane but Joell really ripped that. I think the theme of this mixtape forces you to compare him to the elite and when you see how well he stacks up that makes a big impression. shit is dope as hell.

Being an old head, I recognize every single beat (and truth be told, own every single tape on the cover. ON TAPE). I admit, the concept is nuts, the artwork flawless, the beat selection was ill, but Joell just isn’t THAT nice in my opinion. I feel like there’s about a thousand other rappers I wish would have come up with this idea instead.
A few of the tracks aren’t extracting over into my computer right but from what I’ve heard a few of the songs are way to short to be even listenable, I spose if your bumping the mixtape the full way through just driving around or chilling its pretty good but In terms of good individual songs, No. If they were even just half a minute longer, Id say.
O.K. I take it back, this shit = fireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Fucking Joell goes in. And some one said this earlier but it’s true: this makes you compare joell against some of the GREATS and he holds his fuckin own. Versatility.
Been sittin here at work listening to this on repeat all damn day. Dopest pure hip-hop mixtape of the year. Don’t come at me with the Drake shit because as much as I dig that So Far Gone, it’s not purely hip-hop.
