All Im saying is Snoop co-signed Bow Wow and plenty Souljah Boy am I gonna be a grown man listening to that garbage? Or should I listen to music that is garbage because someone else does? While it’s ridiculous to say Asher is the 2009 vanilla ice, it’s just as ridiculous to say AITBI was a really good album. Great production, dope flow, but content-wise left a lot to be desired. Be understands his demographic and dumbed it down to punch lines on teddy ruxpin and blunt smoking. This isn’t to say he’s a shit artist; judge on his catalogue as a whole and not just the latest release. And can we dead the term REAL HIPHOP HEAD? Or can someone define that a bit better for me….what is a real hiphop head? Elitist bullshit.

First of all, if you can’t spell, you probably shouldn’t be posting on this site. Actually, if you can’t spell properly, you shouldn’t be spelling on any site EVER. Asher is sick. Anybody comparing him to anybody is ridiculous. He’s a unique artist. Yes, he’s white. Yes, he sounds similar to em. Yes, his first single was corny. BUT, a MILLION people downloaded/bought that first single, just like eminem fans. If you REALLY listened to Asher Roth’s album and you REALLY are a fan of hip hop…you’re fucking retarded(sorry for being serious) if you’re not feeling it. It’s a super chill album to listen to from front to back. I love the half the people commenting on this album. It’s not where you’re from, it’s where you’re at. Get involved, get down with this album. Listen to it with open ears. If you know ANYthing about hip hop, this is a must listen. I’m not going to say it’s my favorite hip hop album of all-time, but it has to be appreciated. Mos Def- Black on Both Sides. Jay-Z – Blueprint. Blackstar. Andre 3000 – The Love Below. Snoop – Doggystyle. Biggie- Life After Death. It’s too hard to name favorites, but these are albums I appreciate, and I fuck with Asher Roth. I can even get down with recent albums. Any Clipse album…you’re crazy if you’re not on board. Any Kanye album. Anyway…I could keep going…hop on 88-keys. Hop on kid cudi(open your mind past “day’n'night”) Trust me…you need to give this album a listen(Asleep in the Bread Aisle). Honestly, if you’re going to respond, please be intelligent about it.

I know Im just a white kid and all but i think ash will be memorable for what hes rapping about. Hes honestly just rapping about being, well, a white kid. No ones ever really did that. The whole back end of his album was full of hooks and dope as hell. He raps about shit sublime would write songs about and I think alotta white kids can get with it. I can.
