The Empire is back with a special edition of his Drought is Over series. This time switching it up and running with Drake’s material. The tape drops this monday. Click the image above for a larger version. I don’t see a crazy amount of exclusives as I’d like to expect from The Empire, but then again I’m horrible with track titles. Shouts to Dre on the heads up.

This looks good

Empire fu*ked up… It’s “November 18th” and he put “14th”… small mistake, but still.

Drizzy’s fellow Canadian base. Much respect for 2dopeboyz on the number 3 spot on Vibe. Much Love. Hate The Empire, biters

Oh Oh EMPIRE?? Major red flag and I don’t mean it in a Blood way either. I’m very skeptical about anything Empire does and I hate hearing constant continuous Empire drops during the songs on their mixtapes.
Speaking of Red why when you go to Nah Right post for this mixtape track-listing and artwork, they have a promo video and in the background it plays Drake singing and he says a few BLOOD words in there.
He’s not a Blood and it’s almost impossible for a grown ass man who never lived in gang territory or life to be a Blood. Check it for ya self. Maybe I’m missing something. Maybe it’s a draft he did for a Lil’ Wayne song or an idea for Lil’ Wayne.
Ps. I’m not hating on Drake. This is just a honest observation I noticed and had questions about. I’ve supported and rocked Drake’s music since early ’07

As a matter of fact here’s the song. I just got the leak for it. He says those things in the beginning of the track.

@Jaywall
Dog did you read what I said? There were no allegations of ghostwriting. An idea for a song is just that an idea. I was guessing that it was an idea for a song that him and Lil’ Wayne could do together where he does his parts etc. in particular the hook because he says some Blood stuff in there. 2ndly I didn’t know this was a Chris Brown beat.
Everything I said was because inquiring and asking no allegations or implying anything. I put up what I posted because he was say some Blood stuff in there and he’s not a Blood so the only other reason I could come up with is that maybe it was a collab song for Lil’ Wayne purposes like Tha Carter 4 or Rebirth or something where Drake does the hook and sings a verse or something. That’s all.
Ps. Does anyone know why he’s saying Blood stuff in that song in particular?
Peace!

^^^yes it was a track he wrote for wayne
“This is a reference track that I did for Wayne. It was gonna be on Dedication 3. Needless to say it never made the mixtape but now you understand the point of view that I was writing from.”
and everything on there is old
M.I. said this on May 8th, 2009 at 12:13 pm
Yo show, my bad fam, its a reference for wayne…meaning you could be correct.

Pay Attention:
Drizzy is not “affiliating” himself with the Bloods in this song. He does, although, from time to time acknowledges Wayne’s (quote) “afakeiation”, oops I mean “affiliation’(un-quote)
If you listen he says “su-woop for the bangers”
………notice the words FOR THE BANGERS
and right before that it says “let me do me, and you just do you”
you should understand the overall meanings of those lines…..if not……dnt know if I can really help you

That makes more sense. Thanks for clearing that up. On the other note that’s still considered a bad thing to do say “su woop” when your not a Blood. It’s not as a big deal but still shaky to do.
