So…every white rapper who comes out is automatically compared to Em?? Well.. How come they don’t get compared to Vanilla Ice (like some of them should, even some black rappers), or Beastie Boyz. Shit, why compare them to other white rappers at all.
Um, I’m not sure what the fuck any of ya’ll are talking about. But, she is white, she’s from Detroit (I think I read that a while back), and she has a somewhat similar rhyme style as Em. Not her voice, or her subject matter, but the way she puts words together. Hence, the comparisons. Obviously no one compared her to Em back then because they were both nobodies. What would be the point? That being said, the only people that really try to compare them are the critics that really have no background to be critiquing hip hop in the first place anyway. From what I’ve heard she’s pretty nice though.
And, yes she’s a girl. Every girl ain’t pretty guys. Get used to it. And, hip hop is the genre (more than any other) where looks shouldn’t matter at all. All you little kids that came into the culture late have let the record labels fool you into thinking this “image” they spoon feed you defines talent or should enable success. Me, personally, I don’t need a porn star on an audio recording. I’m looking for mic skills.
Well said, Sean. There are no comparisons whatsoever though. Her wordplay is different than Em`s. She not only reps the D,but Ann Arbor as well. She has been overlooked when talking about female Mc`s clearly. Her album is dope.Look for her in the future.
is that a girl?
inevitable eminem comparisons? …………why?

Best female emcee hip-hop album in years.
The couple songs I’ve heard from her were nice, and she seems cool as hell…
I’m gonna have to look out for more from her…
