  8. no one EVER focuses on how good Amanda Diva’s music actually is. Thats a shame. And a bigger shame is that I doubt any of you listened to what she had to say about the hip hop culture. SMH. You guys need to hush and download her FreEP. Its on here.

I agree with all of this.

  11. that’s unfortunately real what she said about us white folks appreciating the music better. jazz is an obvious one, because white rockers took jazz and ran with with it, creating some of the best rock bands ever. but even hip hop these days, i feel that white people who really get in to it, might just appreciate it better. only because they don’t have as much emotion invested. i’m not at all trying to say that i appreciate or understand hip hop better than anyone else, especially someone from that culture, that can relate better than i ever could. but i think that white people, because of our indifference to to the personal part of the music, get to see it in a different light. and can appreciate the good from the music, without finding as much bad, due to personal taste and feeling. am i completely off base here? i’m not the best at articulating my thoughts, but i wanted to start some type of debate towards this matter just to see what everyone else thinks.
