The original version of “Closer” is one of his best to me. Matter fact anything off of the mixtape “Comeback Season” is some of his best work in my opinion. His lyrics and flow on that jawn were consistently on point throughout the tape. But of course everybody is currently on “So Far Gone” like hoes on dicks so…most ppl will prolly tell u to listen to that.

I’ve been keeping up with Drake’s music for about a year now. IMO, he’s def. one of the best all around rappers (lyrics, flow, delivery, record presence) to come up since Kanye. He easily trumps every single rapper on the XXL Freshmen 10 list. I’m sure he’ll career will excel further than any of theirs. But here’s the confusing part. Jay-Z just signed an artist by the name of J. Cole to his Roc Nation imprint. J. Cole is very similar to Drake. His flow isn’t as good but his lyrical content (IMO) is better and more diverse. (Listen to The Come Up mixtape and the sampler for the upcoming The Warm Up mixtape on IMEEM). Now my questions are, why would Jay work with Drake ebing that he has his own new artist he should be working with. Also why does Drake blow up in the mainstream as soon as Jay signs a new artist that is just as good, if not better than Drake?
