have you listened to the last 2 tracks that leaked off “uknowbigsean”? they don’t really sound anything like his older stuff. i’m completely disappointed with this track…i’m sure it will grow on me but this definitely sounds drake influenced. i noticed the drake influence off the bat on this one as well as his flow on rollin…and as duke said up there none of his other stuff sounds drake-ish….smh
Maybe it’s because I listen to Big Sean a lot anyway, but i didn’t really notice any similarities between him and Drake at all. Big Seans voice is a lot more nasally than he is, while Drake’s is softer (pause). I think that like someone else said, people are saying that he sounds like Drake just because he’s got a laid back flow. Either way, I like this song a lot. Dude’s production is pretty fuckin’ consistent, and his style is really digestible, perfect for a mainstream audience to me.

santogold got sued by some old cat named santogold who used to have a show in the 70s and 80s. diplo sampled his show lead in on a mixtape … (“now presenting, the great santogold!” or somethin)
dude found out, sued them for copyright infringement … forced her to change the name.
