Corte Ellis – Money on the Floor (Slaughterhouse Remix)

I’m sure this track will cause a nice little uproar in the c-section with the Slaughterhouse fans. Definitely not what you’d expect from the foursome. I’m not hating though… track isn’t bad imo.

TSS: As niggas who can rap, will you guys have any dance records then?

Crooked I: No, no records about a dance (Laughs). That’s strictly off-limits. We’re not having no records about dances, but we’ll have joints that people can dance to because that’s what it’s all about. It’s not like we trying to be super-hardcore dudes who don’t wanna have fun and make music that people enjoy.

  2. God I hate when Zshare interrupts the song for a fucking ad.

  3. Joey switchin up his flow!!!!!

  4. Never heard of this Corte dude but the song itself is pretty hot. Needless to say we’ll probably see a gang of ignorant ass people on here talking about Slaughterhouse selling out or some other BS. If this starts getting spins on the idiot box, I could see Slaughterhouse getting some mainstream love before most of us even expected.

  5. *Goes back to listening the 5 song bootleg album*

  6. these bums are desperate as hell…

  7. meh…sounds like every other song like this. if they want to make any kind of money they gotta make a track like this, it’ll just be the one i skip on the album.

  8. Songs pretty wack imo. The beat is horrible that’s what ruins it.

  9. royce kills it
his voice just goes with ne beat

its not bad not what i excepted but hey like they said gotta have fun

  10. Shit is dope, didnt expect it but I like it

  11. Nothing wrong with this song. They can rhyme to anything and make it dope to listenable. If there are any cats that say Slaughterhouse sold out, calm down. Let your elitist guard down and start bouncing to this shit.

  12. This song is annoying. Too much singing.
Obviously I like the Slaughterhouse parts, but I can’t listen to the whole song.

  13. beat isnt good

  14. never call them a foursome again

  15. Yeah, weak ass beat and poor choice of R&B artist to do vocals. Way too much from R&B dude anywyas. I want them to make a dope track that can get radio play. But this was a poor attempt and is the wrong direction. I’m disappointed.

  16. A little generic sounding, but nice exposure for the group.

  17. Wow horrible

    Because of this

    Four Horsemen>Garbagehouse

    Go solo fucking NYSNC!

  18. Joe Budden must of set this track up.

  19. Unxpekted, you hate everything that Budden does. Don’t you realize by now nobody even regards your opinion as valuable?

I think somebody should sample Manfredd Mann’s “Blinded By the Light.” I had heard Flo-Rida was going to do it for ROOTS, but I never heard the track after searching for it.

  20. i do think this is the worst song they done so far and they could’ve picked a better beat to generic ,
they need a hit radio song but this could not possibly be it
im not hating just stating my opinion still looking forward to anything they come out with its one track i dont care to much for

  21. Nothing is wrong w/ the song, it isn’t off the wall but it definitely isn’t wak.

Nothing’s wrong, they all could flow so u can’t go wrong w/ that unless the beat n concept is fucked up n that’s not the case here.

  22. they used my original cover idea:

  23. they killed it. Stop all the hating. What, cause the records not about punching someone in the nose bone its not good? Getthefuckouttahere.

  24. this is the internet, there is no need for the “im not hating”comments…fuck these clowns calling out haters because people dont agree with them…i stated how i feel about the track, but cats is throwing “hate” around like crazy these days

  25. the internets version of the lox lol

  26. prkgfx why do I get the feeling that was not ur original idea seeing as its almost identical to theirs?

  27. Where’s the Radio Killa reference?

  28. Aye, yo, go suck a dick.

  29. The lox was never good though, burgundy, and those guys had no solo background before the Lox. Completely different, so next time try harder.

  30. This guy tried to hate on the song and misspelled NSYNC. lol. Funny. I like the song.

  31. i’ll take it.

  32. ASS. Beat sucks, hooks worse.

I’m all up for Slaughterhouse making a catchy song with mainstream appeal, but this is not it, radio wouldn’t even play this if it was Eminem, it’s that bad.

  33. You know how to spell them, hmm must be a true hip hop fan owning “nsync” albums

    1

  34. Unxpekted is an idiot. To call Slaughterhouse garbage is one of the dumbest statements EVER.

as for the track itself…lyrically its a step up from other tracks of the same topic (obviously since its these 4), but the song in its entirety is still bland and cliche. nonetheless its a step above the rest of these other wack club hits.

  35. @ gavin
    Exactly

I just listened to the track for the first time and this shit is FIRE! The singer’s verse was too Ray J-ish but everything else (slaughterhouse verses, beat, hook) is fucking heat.
    fuck the haters!

  36. It’s just proof that the dudes are still ill while being versatile. This might even get love on the mainstream.

  37. @ Gavin: you made the smartest statement and a favor to us all callin Unxpekted what he is, although it was kind of an euphemism… :p
He’s the definition of a hater: no arguments (about music) whatsoever, just pseudo-sadistic and failed sarcastic attempts!
The song is actually pretty good, kinda repetitive production and singing, but you can’t touch the rapping, it was too good (conceptual and smart) for an RnB feature.

  38. Eh, could’ve been better. Too much singing. Not their best track. I won’t listen to it. But it’s not that bad. Just their worst track.

  52. meh.. this is aite. I hate singing so I’m biased. But if they are really going to put out an EP in a couple months, they have to have a track or two like this one on it.

  53. Man hate is alive on this site…Let’s not jump off the wagon…What are they supposed to have a whole album dissing imaginary wack Emcees!!! Get The Fuck!! That’s like hating on Tribe for “Check the Rhyme”…Do we have to be serious, or in battle mode all day??? Get a grip!! I agree cuz singing is horrible and ruins the track, but Slaughterhouse themselves sounded good…I love the underground all day, but keep it real, when you go to the club and “pop champagne” comes on and a girl starts shaking her ass, you right up on that!! You gotta be versatile, party, battle, serious…What happened to versatilty??? Stans go back to your room at your mama’s house and shut the fuck up!!!
