Nowadays so called "hip-hop fans" pay attention to the less talented because their slept on and say the talented artist are overrated. That hurts all the good artists and the ones who seem to sell are the extraordinary artists like Jay-Z etc. and the average or below average artists. It's cool to root for the underdog but just make sure the underdogs actually make good music sonically. Well if Soulja Boy is “relevant” then something is wrong the fans not the artist with talent.
