The good folks at OKP have a solution. Tomorrow/today (Saturday) the site will not feature any updates as the back end is getting a huge overhaul [II]. Sunday, myself and Meka shall return and everything should be how it used to be (as far as content and performance of the site). I know everyday more and more folks are wondering what the deal is with the okayplayer addition in the URL. We’ll clue you in this week for sure. Just know, that we’ve got huge plans. And we hope ya’ll are down to take the journey with us. I’m not sure what will leak, etc tomorrow; but I know the rest of the NMC will hold it down! If Shake and Meka stamp it you can bet it will be a DOPE move for the blog, so I’m not concerned. However, I can’t stand the hiphop/hipster elitist attitude over @ OKP. It seems, unless an artist gets the Quest/Tom approval they get no love over there. 2Dope is dope because of the unbiased variety. If it’s dope it can get a post (everything from Max B-Sic Osirus), which is how it should be.
