Blu & Exile – Dancing in the Rain Live (Video)

Do to uncontrollable circumstances (Carl’s Jr. truck in flames on the 10), Blu & Exile were unable to perform this past weekend at Paid Dues. Talk about a major disappointment when i first got word they couldn’t make it. The clip I included after the jump (you’ll see why) isn’t from Paid Dues obviously, but it’s still dope. Greg the Dude put together some footage of Blu & Ex performing one of my favorite songs from Below the Heavens at SXSW.

  5. Dudes truck caught fire. Damn that sucks. Blu was good in Vegas
    Even though it was a small show still good times smokin out his boy.
    I woulda like to see how big of a fan base he brought to Paid Dues.
    Maybe next year or if Shake hits me up on a upcomin show.

    Blu & Exile’s album is classic, I only stumbled upon him in the past few months buy it’s in constant rotation for me. I’m excited to see how he matures even more as an artist – I would’nt have guessed his age from his rhymes if he didn’t mention it, he’s beyond his years.

  14. Yo, I was @ SxSW and saw Blu at the Nah Right X TSS Party… dude was mad apprehensive about doin Dancing in the Rain.. I shouted it out during the request part of his set and even Exile asked him to do it, but he was like na… then after enough crowd coercing, dude finally did it… it was amazing. IMO he needs to incorporate Dancing in the Rain and In Remembrance of Me into every show.. those two songs are two of the dopest hip hop tracks EVER.
