I hit up New York last week to see what’s happening and hook up with some of the most influential people in the game.
Kid Cudi is one of the hardest working artists, and the hottest, which means he’s pretty hard to track down at the moment. It looked like the interview wasn’t going to happen unless I met him at an airport, or train station on his return from Boston.
If you think I’m exaggerating check the departures board in the background. Like Benny Blanco from the Bronx, I was patiently waiting.

Cudi and Charles Hamilton got nothin in common. You can love or hate on either, but shit isn’t even close to the same.
Yeah, I don’t understand the argument he’s one of the best out. He is definitely fresh and brings a newer image to the mainstream floor which I appreciate. When he does his honest story songs about his life I can relate and vibe to him but other than that…he’s not much of a rapper. I wouldn’t even consider him music of an MC. He’s good at making songs, he’s got the concept and understands harmony.

i got to be honest Charles style is done consciously boring. I like Cudi, dude is fresh, although I haven’t heard allot from him, he makes good music. Him workin with Kanye was also great! He isn’t best rapper alive but I really feel his music, allot more then allot of other catz.
To each his own.

All the MC’s (Or rappers, if you are that opinionated and you waste your life to debate it online) mentioned, get it in, liked or not.
Besides, I like C. H. A. R. Lol! Admittedly, he does have some quirks that bother me. But, the beauty of his work is that he talks about it and is very introspective.
