Earlier today, GLC threw up the original version of the College Dropout jump off, which was recorded in Cali back in 2003. A time when he says were GOOD times as we were in the pursuit of happiness. Shouts to Andrew on the heads up! And if you’re wondering, the above image is from GLC & Kanye’s upcoming video for Big Screen.

Consequence >>> GLC. imo
^Con is better as far as lyricism but GLC has a better flow and is more consistent IMO.
When was the video shot for Big Screen? Cos ‘Ye has his ’07 KanYe Hair, No Afro-Mullet of recent times. has he had his Ears Lowered…
^^ no, it’s new, he cut the mullet and shaved his beard
Kanye was creative as hell hback then… these days everything seems so contrived
Ugh, this song wasnt the greatest..I think his prime was Graduation tomorrow, maybe a little of Late Registration

Shake, any news on the Kanye x Clipse song?
I love hearing this old Ye stuff
Supposedly the new Clipse + Kanye song was not released because Kanye is Keeping it to promote his Air Yeezy’s, which are suppose to be released in the summer!!! But the Clipse have a song with Cam’Ron and Neptune production that they might release instead.
somebody jack up kanye for that clipse track, ain’t no way mafucka got a gun in those tight ass jeans
“we don’t care” was dope, made me know the rest of the album was gonna be hot
I remember when College Dropout first came out, driving around for hours (I lived in a boring city) listening to it and thinking it was incredible, like I wish it didn’t end. I’m definitely glad Kanye caught on and has kept them coming since then – I’ve been a fan since I first heard that opening track, so it holds a special place. The only one I haven’t really liked of his was ‘Through The Wire’ but it’s not awful, just too much a concept record – and I’ve come to like it since then. I still bump this album quite a bit …
