The Thrift Shop Experience ep.1: 88-Keys (Video)

The homie John Public is starting off a new series. Here goes the first episode featuring 88-Keys. What’s a Thrift Shop Experience you ask?

Your Thrift Shop Experience is, very simply, your story. The metaphor here is that, in a thrift store, each item has a past; when you purchase that item, whether it’s a book, shirt, table, toy or coat, you’re buying into it’s history. When we communicate with each other, we share our experiences, and with this series, I wanted to find out what really got people open. Producer, emcee, writer and Polo-fiend 88-Keys is my first guest. He’s produced joints for Mos Def and J-Live, among others, and his latest album, “Death of Adam,” was executive-produced by Kanye West.
