DJ Quik & Kurupt link up to fire a few rounds at a select few. Most notably AMG. When did The Fixxers even break up? I’m out the loop I guess. Off DJ Nik Bean’s upcoming Streetz of L.A. 7 mixtape, hosted by Nipsey Hu$$le. These two also have a collaboration album dropping next month, entitled Blaqkout. I had to use the image above because this is far from Callin Out Names.   12. First off, Quik has been down with AMG for over 15 years. Something had to jump off for this record to come out. It’s not like they just met yesterday and today are no longer “best friends.” The beats are okay, but it seems like they are a little stuck in the West Coast formula…boom, bap, boom, bap, boom, bap. That’s cool but it hasn’t worked for the West in a minute. I want to see the West back innovating, not duplicating!!! Still good to hear Quik, though. PEace
