Speaking of Slaughterhouse, Joell is dropping this project called Covering The Classics, where he’s basically jackin’ for beats. Check out the sampler below.

So he’s dropping this, The Pre-Agent and the Free Agent all this year? Dopeee…
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bananas and ape shit.
*Standing Ovation!”
I never used to like Joell too much, now I wanna hear every cut this dude is on! I think after realeasing himself from the Aftermath graveyard it gave him the room to shine. Keep doin ur thing.
cant wait..
so many ill artits… and sick project for 09…
This project has ridiculous potential.
Joell can spit. From everything I heard he still needs to work on structuring a song.
That’s why I think the 4 of them work so well together in slaughterhouse. Royce has been the only one who, in my opinion, can create hot songs. Budden surprised me with a few joints on Padded Room. I can’t rate Crooked because he hasn’t dropped too many “official” songs. They can all spit but making music is different.
Back on Joell, he’s got a hunger that hasn’t been around in a while. If anyone from the “new school” is going to make a rap classic in the league of Pac/Biggie/Nas/Jay-Z/Rakim/Big Daddy Kane it’ll be him.
It’ll be nice to see some features. Bishop Lamont can hold a flame to these dudes. Black Milk isn’t of the lyrical caliber but he can still come with some heat. Shit, having Eminem on a joint would be nutz. Doc Dre should fuck with these dudes.
But yeah big up joell ortiz
Budden!
First week 14k, that’s all you got?

Back to the topic at hand, this Covering The Classics project is gonna be monumental. The sampler sounds straight retarded.
