  3. consistency is going to get me in the store to buy this dudes album when it drops. every mixtape i have pulled at least five songs from for the pod. i didnt get to enjoy awkward because brain came out. and i was feeling brain a lot. but now i have to absorb this one… and i still havent even given nothing but a first listen to drizzy [not try to start comparisons, just saying this dude is making it hard to keep up]

  8. @blindsyde I agree. Dude is somewhat dope, his voice/delivery isn’t really for me but somehow a million people started loving dude over night.

    Anyways this mixtape is short & sweet, he samples a few Kanye tracks/that live freestyle when someone threw something at kanye during a preformace.

    i have a hard time believing someone who puts out a mixtape every week is putting out quality. maybe i’m just a skeptic.
    i’m from toronto but not really feelin’ drake either. the fact that he runs with weezy is not doing him any favours either IMO.

  34. I like that Charles is willing to work hard but like Wayne, oversaturating the market with this stuff just exposes his weaknesses a lot more than if he dropped a mixtape once in a while and worked on a big album. It waters them down.

  38. this isnt the first mixtape to jump into if youre lookin for him to prove you wrong. yeah its a good tape, but it concentrated on one topic, that if you arent charles, it probably wont mean anything to you. other tapes cover the spectrum a lil better.

    to comment on him over saturating the market. i think he knows what he is doing. this mixtape going right out and says rihanna is the chick, the one before that hinted a lil more. the one before that was dedicated to a chick. he is doing this on purpose. polus over saturation worked for wayne. we all know mixtape and album quality songs are two different things and im sure he knows that. yeah he probably could have used a punch line here or there for the album, but he still could if he wanted. and its not that his lines are so tight that he cant make more, its the story he tells that makes him interesting. so material will come and go for this guy, he has a lot of shit in his mind that needs to get out, and it will…obviously

I was checking for dude at one time but every other week, if not day, he has something new coming out and it’s mostly garbage tracks that most respectable rappers would leave unmastered on their PC’s. Dude’s got talent obviously but c’mon man, if most of the stuff you’re dropping is of this standard then people are gonna lose interest. If you really need to release something new everyday then go diss 50 Cent..

Look at 2Pac. As much as I love his stuff so much is not that great cause just too much music too in a short time. every song or beat someone makes is not meant to be heard when u do it like this.
