So I’m running through my emails and I come across the words “Cam’ron Diss”. I check to see who the artist is (hoping it was Juelz or someone) and I see it’s by an artist I haven’t heard of. Thinking it’s some random “I’ma diss a rapper to try and get on” type thing I overlooked it for a second. Fast forward a few minutes and I check it out and it seems he has a pretty legit reason to be upset with Cam. We all saw his latest video for I Hate My Job, but did any of ya’ll see Nova’s video that was released some time earlier? If not, hit the jump and check it. See any comparisons? I’m gonna play middle field for now and let the people talk…

  2. Haven’t peeped the diss yet, watching Nova’s video right now. I’m kinda missing his point if it’s just the case of the video or the song having the same concept as Cam’s. Yeah, he did his first but it’s not like he’s the only rapper to talk about hating a 9 to 5: Murs – God’s Work, Blueprint (with Soul Position) – Fuckajob, Kanye – Spaceship, Pigeon John – Crazy

    There’s tons others too. As for the video, shit, if that’s biting then Mike Judge needs to tax both Nova and Cam for Office Space. *shrug*

  3. A’ight, so it’s an accusation of theft. I can understand him being pissed about it, yeah, but again the two songs can breathe on their own without one assuming the one bit from the other, they’re different enough while being about the same concept. The video concept, I suppose if things are as true as he’s saying it’s a valid point.

  12. No one cares about this dude Nova. The “I Hate My Job” concept is about as played out as the referring to Hip Hop as a girl concept. It’s been done so many times already. No one bit anybody.
