This holds as my second favorite installment of D-Nice's True Hip Hop Stories series (Masta Ace being numero uno). Here Buckshot discusses the writing of the Black Moon record, How Many Emcees, and the state of hip hop today. I've got some great info regarding a revisited version of  How Many Emcees and I really wanna let it loose but I can't just yet. Soon.

Also, hit the jump for Buckshot's sit down with Splash! Magazine at the recent Black Moon tour in Europe. He discusses the differences in the work with Evil Dee & 9th Wonder, his upcoming project with KRS-One, Duck Down label politics, the history of the backpack and more...

BUCKSHOT AND HIS WHOLE MOVEMENT AT THE TIME WHEN THEY CAME OUT WAS HUGGGGGE ON THE EAST COAST!!! I MEAN AT THAT TIME IT WAS REALLY JUST WU-TANG AND THEM! THERE WAS SO MUCH TALENT AMONG BLACK MOON, HELTAH SKETAH COCO BROTHAS AND MORE AMAZING TO HEAR HOW MUCH HE STILL APPRECIATED HIP HOP OF NOW AND THEN.

Shake...this would be a good time to repost part four of Funkmaster Flex's 90s Labor Day mix since part 4 began with the DuckDown segment.
