So last night, my partner in blog hit me up with a streaming link to this car chase in Los Angeles. Reports flew in that it was Chris Brown. Nope. Then DJ Khaled talks we’re floating. Again, nope. Now… during the time of the chase I got emails like “DJ KHALED RUNNING FROM THE PO” or “DJ KHALED JUST ONE’D HIMSELF!?” Come on! It’s one thing to drop me (or Meka) a line about some concrete news. Why do ya’ll wanna be gossip reporters like that? Anyways… I got a few more this morning and figured I’d make a post with Khaled’s official statement…
This is DJ Khaled and due to recent press and news reports I feel compelled to release a statement. Just to be clear I am in Miami, FL
working on Rick Ross’ album, Deeper Than Rap. I am not in LA where there are reports that I have been in a police chase. These reports are
completely false and unfounded.
This wasn’t really something to joke about in the beginning really, nor is it now as it ended in a man’s suicide. So please… stop emailing us about this issue and carry on.
