Actually Jay would most certainly not get eaten alive.
Don’t get me wrong, Rakim is one of the greatest flowers of all time. Perhaps THE best. But half of what he’s saying doesn’t make any sense, plus he couldn’t freestyle of the dome if his life depended on it.

I read a forum once, where somebody said, the thing that makes Jay so great, is his ability to make what he does sound easy.
His delivery is so casual, that you could think he is not really trying. But then you notice the layers of meaning in those words.
