Outkast is, with out a doubt, the best rap group of all time. Andre 3000 is a top 5 lyricist, and with the aforementioned Organized Noize producing and Big Boi being Big Boi, there is nothing not to love. However, when you take one half of Kast out of the picture, it’s not the same. I’m waiting for when Dre and Antwan are in the studio, together, again.
B.o.B and Andre 3000 on a track would be a dream. Even though B.o.B is a mix of old andre and new. It would just be creative as hell. But im looking forward to this for sure.
To say that “Outkast is, with out a doubt, the best rap group of all time” is ridiculous.

Not that ridiculous. Dunno about the best but they are up there. They are topped only by NWA, Wu-Tang and (possibly) Run DMC IMHO.
I think BoB is dope but the comparisons to 3 Stacks are stupid. The guy hasn’t even put out an album and people act like he’s the next Andre.

outkast is definitely my FAVORITE group of all time, with a tribe called quest in a real close second (and to me, probably the BEST)… nwa was wack, yeah i said it – if you go back and listen to them, it’s such a gimmick… wutang might be for the children, but it’s definitely not for everyone… epmd may be in some lists, bone thugs are for some other people, any member of the native tongues is up there for me
as far as B.O.B. goes he’s OK, definitely like him, but not blowing me away, and definitely nowhere near as talented as andre, and i see little potential for him to get there… a listen through of southernplayalisticmuzik to stankonia shows an unparalleled growth of an artist, that i think will be hard to match
not saying that he is, his style is very similar, hes as creative as dre and they have a similar singing style as well. and look at the Ill be in the sky video on how he plays piano, he jams out like dre. I never said he was the next dre. B.o.B has his own things too but what most people can easily point out is the similarites in both rappers.
Outkast is Southern hiphop. They opened the doors for every artist coming from blow the mason dixie
But…andre3000 is a selfish dude…he has pretty much put bigboi in a bad situation ever since the double album dropped.
Dont get me wrong tho..andre def. my favorite rapper of all time but yo..homie is mad selfish to leave bigboi hangin like he has…cut off all their touring…dont hardly record anymore together( like in the studio at the same time)…to me its sad.
but Bigboi got WAAAYYYY more talent than people know or care to give him credit for..which is also sad.
they aint broken up..but..the day they truly reunite will be EPIC!!!!!!!!!!

It’s not ridiculous to say their the best rap group of all time. They put out three albums ( ATLiens, Aquemini, Stankonia) which were and are heralded as three of the best rep albums ever. No group has ever been more creative nor innovative, and, in my mind, lyrically, Andre alone puts the other aforementioned rap groups to shame. There’s real emotion in his poetry, messages behind his songs and a purpose for the words he uses. And with Big Boi as well, those three albums are incredible. Not to mention Southernplayalistic and Idlewild, two other great albums. I agree though that the double Album, and Andre’s actions after that (not touring, etc.) was not the right direction, but what can you do?
