i cant cosign saigon, i was a fan of his music, but he talks about upliftment and then constantly contradicts himself. He speaks on the new crop of MCs but they have been consistent and some of them have decent joints…we havent gotten anything from Sai since early-mid 07…he needs to stop talking & making irrelevant videos showing off his townhouse and make quality music like he used to do…sometimes these rappers need hugs fam, way too sensitive. He should take Buddens’ song, learn from it and move on.

first off, a rap career is something that the public recognizes so how can you actually end someone’s career when your own career never took off. second, a rapper’s career consists of selling records, which like DMX, Joe doesn’t care about, his music is his therapy he does it for the sake of doing it, to vent, get the emoitions out, so technically you can’t end his career or future mixtapes just by dissing him or threatening to kick his ass.
to clarify, i have nothing against saigon and i think he makes some good tracks but he’s never released anything real lyrical that i have to rewind it to catch something he said. He’s very hit or miss with me. Budden said at the first response from Saigon to the original punchline that he respects Saigon and the only reason he would diss him would be to get him to step his rap game up.
