Cage is like an acquired taste and a lot of cats aren’t gonna feel him but me for instance has been a fan since his early days “For Your Box” mixtape. “The Illest Four Letter Word”….I appreciate the post Shake. ‘Depart From Me” should be ill.

LOL. for a second there i was thinking he was referring to me, and then I just shrugged it off. i’d like to know his definition of “real shit” musically. while he’s talkin’ about 80′s hip-hop shit I’m talkin’ about that avant garde spiritual jazz, fusion and psychedelic progressive rock type shit so he needs to take it somewhere else… and to Galaxy, yea… probably most of the cats here are newer hip-hop cats or they’re maybe only hip-hop cats, who knows… but don’t go making assumptions… like Shake said up top. there are some “older” music cats up in here.
