No one here has been in the heat of the moment, because though a tazer and a pistol feel very different, in the heat of the moment they can feel similar. Also, the cop shot once, which normally doesn't happen in a shooting (even by cops who should be trained to control themselves). Third, it was a shot to the body, which is where you'd shoot a tazer, not a bullet. Tragedy? Yeah, no doubt. Does the investigation need to happen? Yeah. Go to trial? Probably. I'm not even saying he ain't guilty, but there's a chance he didn't mean it, either. Unless you're just a cold-blooded type dude, killing ain't easy. By the way -- When I first watched it it looked like murder, but I've seen that video now at least 20 times, and if you get over being pissed it starts to look more and more like an accident.
