I think it’s safe to say that Jay is comfortable enough with where he is, that he spits how he wants to spit. If you pay attention to a bunch of his recent guest verses, he’s calculatedly moving in and out of time with the beat. I’m not the biggest fan of it, but lyrically, his game is monstrous

Hov went in but he’s wayyyyyy off beat and don’t even rhyme sometimes on this track. Strange thing is he still manage to saver his verse for it to be hot enough. That’s very odd but yet it was good.
