  7. It was good up til 1am. Just Ice, the early DJ sets, and one cat who called out all the L.I. rappers who call themselves from Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens…that was truth.
    Then it all fell apart. They filled time with wackness, stage dummies and one drunk asshole. I felt Rakim was good but he came off soft. He only spat 50% of the time – the rest was the crowd. Plus, the DJ set was the entire track so when R was silent all you got was the crowd and the jam on track. He coulda done better. He coulda rep’d the past in the present.
