Charles is a ten times better lyricist than Soulja Boy. Charles is a Harlem east-coast rapper and soulja bitch is a southern snap artist. It would be a direct insult to compare the two. I never liked Soulja Boy but I respected him cause he did something new. The day I heard him diss Nas, I lost all respect for this idiot. Charles would Ether this lil bitch cause honestly, you can’t make up a dance in a battle.

Hip Hop became a business a looooong time ago. Them niggas thats in it for the love of the artform ain’t got no reason to spite niggas thats getting money. Because if you in it just because you love to do it, what the fuck does it matter what the next nigga is getting paid. Point blank period, no matter how much artist development they do with Charles Hamilton he ain’t gonna be marketable to a wide ass audience. He too left field for mainstream rap. Maybe on some indie alternative shit, but you aint gonna be able to brand him as a “Rapper” and market this nigga. Like , look at the progression of a nigga like…Jay Z. First raps, hustling, fucking bitches, selling coke, etc etc. Fast forward to now, he’s on a more grown approach, he has progressed. WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU PROGRESS TO, WHEN YOU RAPPING ABOUT SOME FUCKING HEDGEHOG SHIT? Nigga, the object is to make money, and the old niggas that remember sonic aint on it that hard. And the young muhfuckas who no about sonic now, is playing the game on fucking Nintendo DS’s an shit (Shout out to my baby sister; who’s 9 by the way). Soulja Boy’s rebuttal was on point. Period.

look Soulja Boy is in it for the money. Charles Hamilton is it for the music. Big difference. People are sooo money hungry that wack shit can sell but the music doesn’t make any sense at all. Commercial rap has ruined real rap. Don’t get me wrong you some music for certain settings i.e. the club, but to talk as if he’s true artist that can be a staple in rap is just stupid. Appreciate all music but don’t get real artist confused with money hungry artist.

OF COURSE Soulja Boy is doing the music for the MONEY, why do you do YOUR job?? Honestly, I downloaded the SB album last year and deleted it in 20 minutes (if that) but months before that I was on youtube watching all the SB vids. If you go waaaay back to before he was signed, you’ll see a lil kid making beats, silly rhymes & dances (you know stuff NORMAL 15-16 year olds do) in a broke living room. He posted it on the internet and it took off. I don’t undertand the scapegoating of SB for the death of hip hop. Didn’t Nas say it was dead in 2006 a year before SB was mainstream??
Anyways, I think SB is right, everyone is just bitter that this dude made it…So i suppose all yall hatin on here (especially 80′s babies like myself) never bobbed your head to any 69 Boyz, 95 South or even an album like “Rock the House” by Will Smith & Dj Jazzy Jeff???

SB is a garbage rapper but i was glad to see he didn’t consider himself to be in the hip hop game. he makes his dance songs, gets his clubbangers, appeals to the kids and stuff. whatever. he gets his money, makin use of the cards at hand, takin advantage of the opportunities before him to get his. you gotta give him that. even if his music is garbage

what CH was sayin is true too. it’s because of Soulja Boy that hip hop is declining and that labels would rather sign a SB as opposed to a CH. still, this is basically common sense and doesn’t even need to be stated. it’s a known, it’s a given. so him sayin this and making up excuses for other niggas??? downnnnn. don’t do that
