Joey keeping it real. Not sure what that “2Pac wasn’t good” comment is about up top, he only said 2Pac wasn’t the best lyricist but his ability to convey emotions on tracks was what made him so great. Wasn’t that Joey/50 collab supposedly the most anticipated collab 7 years ago when they were both still unsigned? that’s a long ass time to finally see a collab if that’s what Joey is saying he’s open to now that the beef’s officially dead.

I never been into Joe music. mood Music was alright but I havent really heard anything else from him.
This is nearly heretical. 2Pac was more than music, he was revolutionary, he resurrected the One Nation, he fought police brutality and was a victim of it, he contributed too much to even describe. Street wise Pac was the most thoroughbred out of anyone, he lived and died by the street life. He was respected by some of the biggest names in the game from Dead Prez to Lakey to Cormega to Nas to Crooked I, the list goes on. Joe Budden has absolutly no place to even mention his name. This is a bad look, I have never purchased or supported Budden but he just officially lost me and anybody I know or respect. When you have 3 mixtapes that werent even classic, to me and alot of people I know they werent even substantial enough to consider, a couple T-Pain wanna be sounding tracks and 1 commercially strong effort you should keep your mouth closed about someone who contributed as much as he did. Im not hating, like I have said you need difference for balance and I feel different about this subject. I just think Budden needs to stop taking amatuer videos of a bunch of immature things and work on making 1 solid album which he has yet to do.

Get off Pac’s dick. Dude is a legend because of everything he did in general, outside of music as well as within it but he’s not untouchable or unworthy of praise/criticism. There were people at the time better than him lyrically, but he meant more to people than just the music and that’s kind of what’s was being said here. He didn’t have to rhyme a hundred syllables to get you to feel him, and his flow wasn’t nearly as nice as a lot of other dudes. He just got the job done and said some real shit and used his music to convey his emotions in a way not many before or after him have been able to do. Joe’s nice as fuck and if he’s not worthy to speak Pac’s name than who the fuck are you to defend the dude’s name? Take your own advice.
