you also have to account that he only had so many albums until he gets out of his deal that he’s not very happy with to my understanding. (ie. why was “influenced” by american gangster and why i believe he is puting out a greatest CD to my understanding) and although he is puting out a BP3, which he has to do well on for his fans to still respect him (which will happen no matter what) and he has to match up to the other Blueprints. With that said i think he just wants to get out of his deal that he’s in right now. and i think that is why he put out a cd like kingdom come and american gangster, to keep the fans wanting to hear more and to keep the label satisfied. sometimes you have to look at why an artist is puting out certain stuff from a business and marketing standpoint. and i might be totally wrong to some, but i think thats why some dont respect or enjoy some of his later work.
This is hot but since Jay-Z’s days as the hottest rapper are over its not gonna get that much play he can advance himself in the music world but theres nothin more he can do in the rap world.
