I have downloaded all of budden's albums myself. I listened to all of them and decided to purchase his self titled debut from itunes and Halfway House from amalgam digital. Joey is one of the few artists I support. It doesn't matter if it's after the fact or not. He's just showing love for joey's music. Besides most people gotta hear Joe Budden a few times to really appreciate it. I can understand why one would not buy right off the bat. But if you put as much effort into every cut, interlude and skit, as you do the singles you do to draw attention to your work and gain fans, then yes, you deserve to have your shit purchased. As far as J.Budden, his singles didnt do his album justice."Walk With Me" was thee best shit I'd ever heard when I listened to it. But "Pump It Up" wouldn't have you believe that. "10 Minutes" is another standout track, that many consumers probably have never heard. In conclusion (English 101 shit) if these "artist" cared as much about their craft as they did their money, the wouldn't let labels dick them into releasing singles that don't define the message they actually want to get across.
