Royce Da 5’9″ and his M.I.C. imprint have inked a deal with One Records for the release of Royce’s highly anticipated album, Street Hop, scheduled for a first quarter 2009 release. Featuring production from DJ Premier, Nottz, Green Lantern, Carlos Broady, Ski, Kay Gee and Emile; and guest spots from Bun B, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and a few other surprises that will be unveiled at a later date. Be on the lookout for the Rik Cordero directed video for the lead single, Shake This, later this month. As well as a video for the b-side single, Part Of Me, produced by Carlos Broady.
This album will definitely show the world why I’m the one to watch right now. I’m happy about my new partnership between M.I.C and One Records, because it’s time to ignite the streets… I’m ready to show all these other rappers just how wack they really are. – Royce

I think royce is dope, I usually buy all his mixtapes and albums. One of the few artist I’ll pay to hear but I hope he has new tracks for that Street Hop album than what was released because that tracklist doesn’t cut it. The first joint and the two joints for the ladies the only joints I’d say are album ready. I’m not even feeling shake this like that.
